This newsletter will be a form for our team to talk to our community while sharing key details about the progress of our Axie Scholarship Program that are important for our future as a guild. This is our way of being transparent and helping everyone in our ecosystem stay up to date.

GamerSpeak’s Scholars Are Still Dominating the Competition!

We have 235 active scholars in July (Decreased from 250). However, we’re surviving despite the tough market conditions. There's still hope because exciting updates are ahead - Origin Phase 3 is almost ready to be released, hopefully by next month. Sky Mavis had just finished implementing major balance changes, adding Moonshards, NFT runes/charms, and adventure mode. All of which are new mechanics to provide utility and token deflationary measures.

16 of our top scholars placed on the Origin Season Alpha leaderboard! The highest rank is Gabrielle -- top 78, with a 64.224 AXS reward ($1,120). 5 of our top scholars are participating in the Road to AxieCon tournament. So far, three of them have qualified for the next round (Phase 2). The remaining two will be joining Phase 1 qualifiers on August 4-7. Good luck to Kentie, Marco, Nico, WildTV, and ZDEL!

What are GamerSpeak’s Plans for Origin Phase 3?

We are currently breeding meta axies so our high-performing scholars can use them right away after the release. At least 4 meta teams are being prepared, the team composition is kept secret for now! We will provide NFT charms and runes to our best scholars so they won't have to burn personal SLP to craft.

Tournament Collaboration with BreederDAO!

The target tournament schedule is on the 3rd week of August. The purpose of this tournament is to improve community engagement. Four of our top scholars will battle against other participants from 3 other guild partners of BreederDAO Prize pool is $1,000 (the winner will receive $200, and $800 will be distributed to the winning guild's community). If we win, that $800 will be split among community members. The distribution will be in a form of redeemable lottery tickets -- guild members will receive a ticket by checking in and cheering during the tournament broadcast.

Requirements

Must be 18 years old or older
Scholars must use Discord for communication with their team
Applicants must have prior Scholarship experience before joining GamerSpeak
Knowledgeable about the fundamentals of PVP gameplay

Benefits

65% fixed SLP & AXS share on their accounts, 1,500 SLP bonus per month, and 40 or 60 energy accounts
Choose and build a powerful Axie team to support them on their leaderboard push (ideal for very competitive streaming)
Can frequently change teams for content-related purposes & team showcases (ideal for casual and fun streaming)
Access to new features such as the upcoming Land gameplay. They can use it to feature new content on their stream

Requirements

Have at least 1,000 followers on your chosen video stream
Stream at least twice a week for 4 hrs total
Add a guild logo and guild details on their stream overlay
Occasionally share GamerSpeak's social media links
Redirect interested viewers to our Scholarship program
